Paulson Coletti Joins the KGW Great Toy Drive to Spread Holiday Cheer in Portland

Every holiday season reminds us of the power of kindness when a community comes together. At Paulson Coletti, we see that power every day, both in the courtroom and throughout the neighborhoods we serve. This year, our firm is proud to participate in the KGW Great Toy Drive, an initiative that helps bring holiday joy to children and families across the Portland area.

Giving Back to Portland Families This Holiday Season

The KGW Great Toy Drive has been one of Oregon’s most meaningful holiday traditions. Now in its 40th year, the campaign brings together individuals, schools, and local businesses to collect new toys for families across Oregon and Southwest Washington. 

The 2025 KGW Great Toy Drive Campaign partners with more than 150 nonprofit organizations. Donations began in early November and will continue through December 16, giving community members time to participate in this collective act of kindness. Volunteers then sort and distribute each toy through partner nonprofits that work directly with families in need.

The impact of the KGW Great Toy Drive reaches far beyond gift-giving; each donated toy represents hope, compassion, and connection. The drive collaborates with local nonprofits, churches, and family support centers to identify families most in need and deliver toys directly into their hands.

How You Can Participate in the Toy Drive

Community members can drop off new, unwrapped toys at designated collection sites throughout the Portland metropolitan area through December 16. Many local businesses, media partners, and community centers serve as drop-off points, making it easy for anyone to contribute.

What to Donate

Any gift is welcome, as everything that comes from the heart is a valuable donation that will bring joy to children of all ages. Popular gifts include books, puzzles, dolls, and sports gear. Older kids, in particular, appreciate creative items such as headphones, art kits, or gift cards.
