Jane Paulson, Personal Injury Trial Attorney
Jane Paulson has won several multi-million dollar settlements and results for clients. She represents individuals and families whose lives have been changed forever by the wrongs of others. While some lawyers are afraid of trial, Jane Paulson relishes trial.
Jane had the honor of serving on the Oregon Trial Lawyer's Association ("OTLA") Board 1995-2006, was one of Oregon's two American Trial Lawyer Association Delegates 2000-2004, and was President of OTLA 2004-2005. She is an Associate in the American Board of Trial Advocates (Treasurer 2011-present) and is listed in Best Lawyers in America for personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
Jane was honored in 2012 by being invited to join the American College of Trial Lawyers and is one of five women in Oregon in the College. In 2012, Jane and her father, Chuck, became one of the first three father-daughter teams in the College. The College is a professional society of Fellows who become members only by invitation. The College looks for lawyers who are considered by other lawyers and judges to be the best in their states or provinces, lawyers whose ethical and moral standards are the highest, and lawyers who share the intangible quality of collegiality.
Jane is listed as one of the Best Lawyers in America; an Oregon Super Lawyer (Oregon Top 50), one of Oregon's Top 25 Women Super Lawyers and one of Portland's Best Lawyers in Portland Monthly magazine.
Jane attended the University of Virginia School of Law. After clerking for a federal judge, the Honorable James M. Burns, in Portland she worked for several years at a well-regarded defense firm where she gained firsthand knowledge of practices and legal strategies of insurance companies and their defense teams.
She has also served several local and state bar committees including the Oregon State Bar Affirmative Action Committee, the Oregon State Bar Procedure and Practice Committee and the Multnomah Bar Association Judicial Screening Committee.
Jane, like all the lawyers in our firm, enjoys spending time with her family and believes in giving back. She works with and is a Board member of Center for Women in Politics and Policy.
