Construction Injuries and Accidents

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was created to provide a safe work enviroment for construction workers who are exposed to injury and death on a daily basis. Despite OSHA regulation, many construction companies continue to expose workers to unnecessary risk in the workplace. Defective and improperly assembled scaffolding, poor safety equipment and training, improperly maintained and unsafe operation of heavy equipment are some of the many hazards construction workers face.

In addition to OSHA regulations, construction workers injured in Oregon are protected by Oregon's Employer Liability Law which requires construction companies engaged in work involving risk and danger to utilize every device, care and precaution feasible in the workplace to prevent injury.

Construction injuries and accidents frequently occur on job sites involving multiple construction companies and potential witnesses and should be investigated as soon as possible to determine the responsbile party and preserve important evidence. At Paulson Coletti, we are experienced at representing people who have suffered construction injuries. If you or a loved one have suffered a construction injury or have been injured on a construction site, please feel free to call us to discuss your potential case.
