    Yesterday, a jury in Multnomah County, Oregon, returned a nearly $4 million verdict for the parents of a baby boy who died from an imperforated anus. The hospital where the boy was born failed to recognize that the boy’s anus was closed (which can occur and is normally easily repaired).
